old clothes + back seam stockings = fierce

These BCBG Max Azria back seam stockings ($12, in the Persian Blue color) are so fierce!  I finally got a chance to wear them today.  Winter is definitely not over yet.  In Atlanta, we seem to get all four seasons within one week in March.

Risto Bimbiloski: my favorite LBD

sneak preview.  More pictures to follow once I actually wear this to an event.

Not sure how I should style my hair for this dress.  My hair is very versatile at the moment.  I do know I want to avoid an updo, because I would feel uncomfortable exposing too much skin.

Yves Saint Laurent: Fall 2010 . . . and the High-Fashion Nun?

Despite the denials of Stefano Pilati, Yves Saint Laurent creative director, there appeared to be a Catholic nunnish theme pervading much of YSL's F2010RTW show.  I'm a Catholic, and I don't have any problem with it.  These clothes actually look like expertly tailored versions of actual clothes I have seen nuns wear at Mass.  The collection is prim to the extreme, but I like it.

MediShorts

Below, you will see me rocking the huge paper MediShorts I had to wear during the MRI scan of my lower spine.  I asked the MRI technician whether I could keep them, and she laughingly said, "Yes."  MediShorts remind me of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.  Behold the awesomeness.
