Christian Louboutin scams

As Christian Louboutin shoes increase in popularity and attract the attention of bourgeois women who lust after the fabulous red soles of their favorite female celebrities, international con artists have taken note and set up a proliferation of replica Louboutin online shops.  Be aware of all the websites that are making blatant knockoffs of Louboutins and then claiming either "100% authenticity or your money back" or "top quality replica."  Don't be victimized by these scams, especially when you can get authentic Louboutins at Saks Fifth Avenue or Barneys for less than $270 + tax during the summer and winter sales.

You can buy authentic Louboutins at:
www.saksfifthavenue.com
www.neimanmarcus.com
www.bergdorfgoodman.com
www.barneys.com
www.netaporter.com

eBay sellers of authentic Louboutins:
naturalgasgirl
mushroom_city
Trenduet
eluxuryshoes
rodeodrivefashionista
Celebshoes
venee2 (Note: some TPFers reported undisclosed damages in venee2's merchandise.)

If you choose to buy on eBay, definitely get the shoe authenticated at the Purse Forum before bidding because there are a ton of replica items on eBay. Membership on tPF is free of charge.

Here is a couple of more you can add to your counterfeit list:

    www.instyleplanet.com
www.womenofluxury.com (they actually claim that their shoes are authentic)

This store however sells the real deal (referred to on the offical CL website)

  4. Hey. Thanks this has been a great help. Can you let me know if this site: http://www.manoloblahnikheels.org/ sells counterfeits. Also how can you tell if the site is legit or if its just a scam for identity theft?

    ReplyDelete
  5. http://www.manoloblahnikheels.org definitely sells COUNTERFEIT Manolo Blahniks, Jimmy Choos, and Louboutins. The site is a scam.

Also, the official Manolo Blahnik website http://www.manoloblahnik.com/ confirms that the only legitimate online stockists of Manolo Blahnik are:
    www.barneys.com
    www.bergdorfgoodman.com
    www.neimanmarcus.com
    www.luxuries.jp

is shopping2wear.com real? can somebody help me out?
it looks real, but the closer images don't work...:S

    ReplyDelete
  7. I'm sure that shopping2wear.com sells fake Louboutins. Don't purchase anything from it. Christian Louboutin recently compiled his own list of websites that sell counterfeits: http://www.stopfakelouboutin.com/index.php/en/Home/LIST-OF-THE-WEBSITES-SELLING-FAKES-WE-HAVE-IDENTIFIED.

  19. are real louboutins supposed to have a vero cuoio stamp on them, i took mine to barneys and the sales woman told me they don't.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I have seen the Vero Cuoio stamp on all the Louboutins from the 2008 and 2009 Christian Louboutin collections at Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus, which are authorized stockists of Louboutins. Also, my python Louboutins that were purchased from the Christian Louboutin boutique in Hong Kong have the Vero Cuoio stamp. I haven't shopped for any Louboutins in 2010, but perhaps the 2010 Louboutins do not have the Vero Cuoio stamp on the sole.

  22. i was checking this website christianlouboutinsale.org and i'm not sure if theyre fake too since its an .org

  23. christianlouboutinsale.org sells counterfeit products and fake Louboutins.

    ReplyDelete
  24. should't it be illegal for these people to sell fake ones online claiming they're the real deal?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yes, it is illegal, and lawyers are successfully suing manufacturers and distributors of counterfeit Louboutins. See the official statement from Christian Louboutin at http://www.stopfakelouboutin.com/index.php/en

    ReplyDelete
  26. hey.

i found some good deals on madisoncollections.com
since you seem so knowledgable and helpful do you know anything about this website?

    ReplyDelete
  27. madisoncollections.com definitely sells counterfeit Louboutins. It is not an authorized stockist of Christian Louboutin.

Please see the official Christian Louboutin website for authorized stockists: http://www.christianlouboutin.com/#/intro

Also, see the official list of websites selling fakes that Christian Louboutin has identified at http://www.stopfakelouboutin.com/index.php/en/Home/LIST-OF-THE-WEBSITES-SELLING-FAKES-WE-HAVE-IDENTIFIED.

  29. Hi,

You list is really helpful. Maybe you could update this list or give me a tip where would be the best place to buy Louboutins on sale?

    ReplyDelete
  30. The best place to buy authentic Louboutins on sale, in my opinion, is Saks Fifth Avenue or Neiman Marcus during their end-of-season sales, which are typically held in December and June of each year. I purchased some Simple 100s from Saks for only $265 plus tax. Occasionally, Gilt.com sells Louboutins at really low prices, but those usually sell out literally within minutes of being posted on Gilt.

    Hi

Your list and advice was very helpful. What about the website: www.eluxuryshoe.com?

    ReplyDelete
  32. All of the shoes on www.eluxuryshoe.com are counterfeit.

    ReplyDelete
  33. klng how are you certain the shoes on eluxury.com are fakes. They mention they are authentic and besides that, they are a BBB accredited website. If they are fake why are they BBB accredited, have no negative reviews besides yours, and they guarantee they're authenticity. Have you ever order from them?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Also, eluxuryshoes.com are referenced from many websites including shopwiki.com

    ReplyDelete
  35. @kgeneralsmak: I never said that eluxury.com sells fakes. In fact, eluxury.com was a legitimate website and owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. However LVMH closed the retail portion of eluxury.com over the course of several months in 2009. For reference, see http://www.wwd.com/business-news/eluxurycom-to-shutter-retail-operation-1915083

Keep in mind that eluxury.com is not the same company as the counterfeiter, eluxuryshoe.com. Despite the fact that eluxuryshoe.com claims to be a BBB accredited company, a simple search on http://www.bbb.org shows that NEITHER http://www.eluxuryshoe.com NOR www.eluxuryshoe.com is a BBB accredited business. You can see for yourself at http://www.bbb.org/us/Find-Business-Reviews/

The fact that eluxuryshoe.com fraudulently claims to be a BBB accredited business raises the question of whether its other claims (specifically, selling authentic Louboutins) are credible.

    ReplyDelete
  36. @kgeneralsmak: You have referenced 3 different websites in your comments above.

    Let me be clear:

eluxury.com was legitimate, owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, but it is now closed.

eluxuryshoes.com does not even exist. I just typed in the URL.

eluxuryshoe.com does exist, but it fraudulently claims to be a BBB accredited business. See the link that I provided above.

The official Christian Louboutin website is http://www.christianlouboutin.com and it provides a link to its anti-counterfeiting program: http://www.stopfakelouboutin.com/index.php/en

Christian Louboutin also provided the following list of counterfeit websites that it has identified: http://www.stopfakelouboutin.com/index.php/en/Home/LIST-OF-THE-WEBSITES-SELLING-FAKES-WE-HAVE-IDENTIFIED.

Furthermore, anyone can add a store to shopwiki.com without having to pay for any rate cards, fees, or specs . A store's presence on shopwiki.com does not guarantee authentic products. For reference, see http://www.shopwiki.com/wiki/Help%3AAbout-Us

    ReplyDelete
  37. @kgeneralsmak: I am not the only one disputing the authenticity of the consumer goods sold by eluxuryshoe/eluxuryshoes. Another person identified eluxuryshoes as a seller of counterfeit Louboutins. See the entry from 04-13-2009, 01:35 PM by Jen5180:

    http://www.authenticforum.com/other-handbag-accessories-brands/125400-anyone-bought-eluxuryshoes.html

While it is possible that the Fotki seller, eluxuryshoes, is not the same seller as eluxuryshoe.com, both sellers certainly appear to sell counterfeit Louboutins.

    ReplyDelete
  38. @kgeneralsmak: Although http://www.eluxuryshoe.com sells counterfeit Louboutins, the eBay seller, eluxuryshoes, is a reputable seller selling authentic Louboutins.

The following is a link to the ebay seller, eluxuryshoes: http://stores.ebay.com/eluxuryshoes

    eluxuryshoe.com = fakes
    eBay seller, eluxuryshoes = authentic

    ReplyDelete
  39. So how about the site gianmarcolorenzishoesitaly.com? Authentic or fake.

    ReplyDelete
  40. @kgeneralsmak: gianmarcolorenzishoesitaly.com does not sell any Christian Louboutin shoes. I am not familiar with the Gianmarco Lorenzi brand, and I do not know whether the shoes on that website are authentic.

    ReplyDelete
  41. klng, Thank you. You have been helpful.

    ReplyDelete
  42. klng,
I was hoping you can provide me insite on one more site. "louboutin-outlet.com" Thankx

    ReplyDelete
  43. louboutin-outlet.com looks as if it sells counterfeits.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Hey klng!
Just came across your blog post while trying to see if www.tchristianlouboutin.com is a fake or real website. It just seems too good to be true. Any thoughts?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Hello Kling! I will definitely take your advice and try Saks or Neiman at the end of the year/December since it's only a few weeks away! I wanted to inquire about http://www.christianlouboutinsalesoutlet.com
The more I look at it the website probably is fake so maybe you can add it to your list. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Do you know if Louboutinlove.com is authentic site?

    ReplyDelete
  47. please, tell me from the http://www.christian--louboutin.com is scam? I ordered 8 pairs of shoes, and I am afraid I will not send my order

    ReplyDelete
  48. http://www.christian--louboutin.com/ is fraud?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Sorry about my delayed response to recent inquiries.
