I like Club Monaco's sophisticated take on the sweatpant and leggings, as shown above. Blazers and high heels can make a huge difference, giving class to an ensemble that would have otherwise been sloppy.

Club Monaco - Fall 2010
Garance Dore did a great job on Club Monaco's fall 2010 lookbook. Everything looks fresh, relaxed, and surprisingly playful.

Yves Saint Laurent: Fall 2010 . . . and the High-Fashion Nun?
Despite the denials of Stefano Pilati, Yves Saint Laurent creative director, there appeared to be a Catholic nunnish theme pervading much of YSL's F2010RTW show. I'm a Catholic, and I don't have any problem with it. These clothes actually look like expertly tailored versions of actual clothes I have seen nuns wear at Mass. The collection is prim to the extreme, but I like it.
